Last marathon for me this year, which was starwalk...
Heard of it few years ago, but never bothered to enter until our good pj teacher introduced us to marathons..
Anyway, i heard my friends said the freebies they're giving are quite attractive compared to other marathons..
The first sight when i collected the freebies+t-shirt bag was Woah! not bad arh..Nice plastic bag..
Inside the plastic bag was :
An envelope with my number cloth in it..
An advance walker's guide..
The so called " attractive freebies" were lots of coffee,tea,nutritional drinks,bathing foam and some "wind-oil"...I expected more things like memorabilias or maybe the nice Digi tissue box when i attended the Penang Bridge marathon since Digi was the main sponsor for Starwalk..
Last but no least..A very plain t-shirt for this year's Starwalk..
Did not took many photos as i was very sleepy coz i had to wake up at around 4.30 as my friend who took me to PISA came around 5am..
Xiu Xin and Hock Sheng were my partners during the walk as they were in the competition category as well..Surprisingly we saw Jing Xiang in the competition category..No offense..
We noticed that most of the fast walkers were using the same tactic which was the shaking the hips thingy..
After the race, got myself a certificate like any other marathon..
Got bunch of free foods and drinks outside the arena..Digi was giving out free popcorn..there was free 100 plus,cereals,sunquick,milo etc...
Wanted to go home to sleep but my friend who was taking me home had this "Starwalk's Next Top Model" fancy dress competition.. So i had to go inside the arena and wait till the event's over..
People were everywhere..Many game booths for the walkers to play..
I didnt play as people lined up from the booth till the toilet..SWT..
This was the "Starwalk's Next Top Model" Fancy Dress competition..
There were only 4 teams though..Equator Arts in the wizard and witch costumes, Golden Sand Hotel in beach costumes , Bayview Hotel in Christmas costumes and Rasa Sayang Hotel in some flower and tree costumes...
Rasa Sayang came in first and Equator took second place..
Went home afterwards and slept the whole day of course!
