I got to say its quite tough, not because of the race, its because of the freaking 7-8 hours waiting for the race to start..
Went to borders to wait for all the guys..
Then went to Kapitan...We went there for like 4 times in 5 hours...
Luckily there's wi-fi and power supply so Nick get to do his leo stuffs while we watch football..
CC looks happy since Liverpool won..
See the guy on the left?? We actually dont know him..I think some of our friends met him in the toilet then brought him here..=.="
After the first football match, all of us went to TGI Friday's for the next match since it was the only place that broadcasted the Manchester United match..And of course we A5's students didnt order anything..
All alcoholic drinks..Wanted to try but freaking expensive..haha
After the match, me,Jin,Xiu Xin and CC wanted to go to Andy's house for a short nap till the race..But then he n nick fell asleep..So..Great..Lepak n slept at the tent where people gathered be4 the race..
Big guns..
The first race which was the Men Full Marathon (42km) started at 3.30..
The category with the least participants..Mostly africans in this race..
After maybe half an hour sleep, woke up,and juz walked around..
There was even some live performance...But the best was the live band singing..
If it wasnt for the band, i would've sleep till the race starts..i had only slept for half an hour..Thank you very much to Tanjung Bungah Beach Hotel's Live Band..
Lots of sponsoring companies...
Digi provided our breakfast...Coffee+biskuits..
They even attracted the runners to subscribe the " change to digi without changing the number" thingy by giving free massages to them..
Start of the race..Stucked in the pack of fun runners for like 10mins...
Took it on the bridge..Beauty sunrise eh?
Din get to take many photos during the race since my battery was running out and i decided to run even though i was just in the fun run category..Overlapping the quarter runners and half runners was a great feeling >.<
And of coure after the race..all of us were half dead..these were the half runners though..
Now i know why 25k is suicidal..
Most of the people woke up when the lucky draw session started..
Except for few of our gang..What to do? Most of us never slept that night..
Anyway..no one from our group won anything..There was like 16k runners man..The one who won the Saga must had went to all the temples around Penang to pray..
I have to say this was quite nice..Mostly the hang out part be4 the race though..
But still the marathon was great...
Sure gonna take part in next year's Penang Bridge Marathon...25km this time..Since my friends said they cramped their legs for many times and get to ask for help from st.john girls >.< haha..but of coz i hope i dont cramped my legs la..
